Asking why we need the motivation to live is the same if you were to ask why we need water to survive. Just like your body needs water in order to run, your mind needs motivation in order to race.
One day you’ll realize how important this actually is. Living without a goal you’re motivated to run to is a dangerous way of waking up every morning. Sooner or later you’ll ask yourself: “why”?
And I’ll tell you. Just like you drink water whenever you’re thirsty, you should find this ‘water source’ of inspiration and drink it to prepare your mind for this run. Remember this, no runner has ever won a race with a dehydrated system. Not ever.
