[03:57] Why should we listen to you?
If you have a setback, feeling hopeless, and you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, I am the person who helps solve that problem.
[4:50] How are you the guy that will figure things out?
I came from a broken home and see conflicts where kids should be around. I got tired of letting it affect me and young as I am, I tried to figure things out on how to utilize it and advance without holding me back. Living with my dad for three years, I went through a lot of emotional and psychological abuse, not from my dad but the people around me.
[6:30] I have my mother file for court papers to get me out of the predicament. I knew my dad was hurt that I was leaving, but I needed to stick to my guts. My dad took out a $100 bill, throw it at me, and told me that I would need it when my mother and I would live on the streets.
[08:15] I told myself that he would not be the one to determine my future. I will be the one holding my fate. At that moment, I know that I am going to be great at something. I become aware that I am using the things that I have ever happened to my life and listening to other people’s stories and converting them into something powerful, which I call the rocket fuel.
[10:51] Roadblocks & Freedom
Haters, setbacks, and discouragements will be the roadblocks to success. The important thing is not to eliminate them but to convert them. You need to be proactive about it. You might dig something in the past, but you need to as fuel. You will slowly convert that going forward and understand that we will have setbacks, discouragements, and disagreements with people. Through this, we can be prepared and recognize it right away.
[14:19] I believed in my deceased step-father’s spirit that I need to find something that will me get my purpose itching out to help people. Grant allowed me to unleash the beast that I have always been. I was initially worried about people’s reactions, but Grant gave me the validation to let it go.
[18:19] Rocket Fuel
The first thing to do is to understand the concept and understand that it is possible. Once you grasp it, you need to be proactive about it. Because once you are in a setback, and you are in proximity to it, you will feel worse. Then it’s about practicing it on anything that comes the way that hinders you from achieving your goal.
[19:41] On the left part of your paper, write all the setbacks and bad things that had happened in your life, whereas writing the good things that have happened opposite to it. Through it, you will not have any problems finding these things.
Believe that you have to believe it before you see it. It’s not about ego, it’s about accomplishing big and never let it limit you. In the future, I see myself creating an impact on millions of people. I see myself as a powerhouse in inspiring people, not just to overcome things but to convert them into rocket fuel.
[27:45] What promise did God make to the world when He created you?
That I project the same charisma as what a superhero gives them when he saves them.
20:45 – 20:48 “I’m totally a different person that I was, I have evolved.”
20:57 – 21:06 “People don’t put themselves out because of the pressure to practice what they preach and making sure they are the real deal.”
